My family eats the crap out of some pizza. Well, Anna likes sausage on top of the pizza. So, she eats the sausage of the top. Alex and I eat the crust and remaining cheese. Luke eats all of it. Shocking.
French bread pizza is on our short list for go-to recipes. They are so easy to throw together and can be personalized to fit any taste. We usually opt for a supreme pizza with sausage (for Anna), green pepper, onion, and mushrooms. I try to cook the sausage ahead of time so that it can easily be tossed on the pizzas when I’m making them. And, Anna loves to jump in and toss the ingredients on to help. Little chef in the making!

Weight Watchers Points+ = 6
- 1 Package Pepperidge Farms Twin French Bread
- 10 ounces pizza sauce
- 1 3/4 mozzarella cheese made with 2% milk
Heat oven to 400°.
Cut each loaf in half length-wise. Separate the top from the bottom creating 8 sections.
Evenly distribute the pizza sauce over each section. Top with cheese.
Add any ingredients you would like for additional Weight Watchers points.
Cook in the oven until the cheese is melted and the bread is crusty. You can also finish them in a broiler to make the tops a bit crispy.
