This month consisted of crying, crying, and more crying. You were showing all the classic signs of reflux. Daddy and I tried everything we could to help you. Nothing worked. I spent my entire day letting you sleep on my chest because that was the only time you were quiet. Your pediatrician didn’t know what to do, so you were sent to a pediatric GI. We switched your formula twice and tried two different kinds of medicine. We also added rice cereal to your formula. You started eating less and gained weight very slowly. It was just an endless process of trying to get you to eat and keep you calm. You were a great little sleeper, when you would sleep. Mommy and Daddy still had to wake you up every 3 hours to feed you, so we weren’t getting very much sleep. It was a rough month, but well worth it in the long run!
